Justin Judge, Tom Hobbs is the first person to drive down the new HWY 156

Tom Hobbs has lived in Justin since 1984 and has been the Municipal Court Judge for The City of Justin and the Town of Northlake for the past 32 years. He was the first person to drive down the reopened Highway 156, the major highway that runs through Justin.

"It's going to be good for the community and we are going to grow inevitably. so we might as well have a new road to go with it" shared Mr. Hobbs.

The city of Justin, like many neighboring small Texas towns have felt more growth in the past five years than they did the 100 years previous.

Mario Sinacola and Son's excavating inc took on the project, which began on March 13th 2017 and reopened Tuesday, May 12th 2020. The project cost $32,541,855.76 to complete.
