About The Event
With Comfort Suites Roanoke as our presenting sponsor, Whiskey, Wine & Design attendees can look forward to some good ol' fashion southern hospitality! This year's Metroport Meals On Wheel's fundraiser is appropriately themed "Southern Comfort".
It's more than a whiskey, it's also great food, and no one knows Southern Comfort food quite like Scratch Catering & Fine foods! With unique, southern inspired food stations like Shrimp Au Gratin Shooters, Teddy Cakes, Chicken and Waffles, Pork and Mango Tacos , and more, you will leave saying, "That food was amazing Y'all!" Then when you think it couldn't get any better, Bear Creek Spirits and Wine will be pairing wine and whiskey tastings with each of the 6 food stations.
In addition to great local food and drinks, we have a great entertainment. Derek Anthony has been singing since he was 6 years old! Performing over 120 times a year for the past 8 years in the 5-State area. Derek has started his own label - B L U A N T Music Group and managing his marketing, promotions, studio, and business independently for now. Derek and his band "The D-Train Band" brings a high energy performance you won't forget!
In addition to great music, local artist, James Milner, showing off his artistic abilities with a live painting demonstration. His stunning watercolor and acrylic paintings would make a great addition in any Texas home. Be sure to shop his art booth in this year's shopping bazaar.
