Veteran's Day for 76262
Historically, November 11th this the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which is the day World War I was declared over between the allied nations and Germany in 1918. Originally called “Armistice Day”, it official became a National holiday twenty years later and has since been known as “Veterans Day”.
This day is set aside to honor and thank the men and women who serve in the United States military armed forces, in war time and in peace time. We proudly fly the stars and stripes and ask that everyone take a moment to remember the significance of this holiday.
